 IMPORTANT NOTICE

As from 1^st October 2010 , new tariff regulations will be implemented  in all  Israeli ports .
Purpose of new tariff to reflect actual costs replacing old prevailing tariff which actually reflected cross subsidies. 
New tariff will affect vessels port dues/charges dramatically (small vessels increase will be much higher than large vessels) .
New tariff rates of discharge / loading of any cargo have been amended as well . Only one rate for discharge and / or loading , Except of possible special requirements by cargo or vessels owners which will be charged in addition to normal tariff .
New tariff rates for general and / or bulk dry / liquid cargoes will be borne by cargo shippers/receivers .
Official tariff  was already published by the government in Hebrew only so far .
Tariff   booklet by the ports   still not published  , per local information such tariff book hopefully will be published during August 2010 .
We recommend all charterers / ship owners and cargo receivers  scheduled to call Israeli ports as from 1^st October 2010 to receive guidelines and / or proforma of the new tariff disbursements accounts .
